Message Notes

  1. Judgment has a place when preservation and restoration of others is the aim.
  2. It’s possible to judge one’s condition without condemning a person.
  3. 5 Practical Suggestions:
  4. 1. Judging appropriately involves knowing what God has spoken clearly about.
  5. 2. Judging appropriately involved being in a relationship with others through Christ.
  6. 3. Judging appropriately involves me asking…
  7. - Am I putting myself under the same level of scrutiny that I am with this other person?
  8. - Am I giving this person the same benefit of the doubt I give myself?
  9. 4. Judging appropriately involves being willing to be judged by other believers that I trust.
  10. 5. Judging appropriately begins with judging me.
  11. 2 Questions:
  12. 1. What is it about yourself that you need to pass judgment upon?
  13. 2. Is there someone that you’re in a relationship with that you’re being led to gently and humbly address about a matter?
