Message Notes

  1. God is always interrupting somebody’s plans.
  2. Two Plans We Have in Exile:
  3. 1. If you can’t beat Babylon, join them.
  4. 2. Isolate from the Babylonians.
  5. God’s Plan in Exile:
  6. Be salt and light in this dark world.
  7. One of the deepest lessons of exile is we learn to live the with-God life in Babylon where things do not turn out the way we planned.
  8. Shalom means universal flourishing, wholeness, and delight.
  9. The real problem with exile is when Babylon gets in the church.
  10. What we should seek is not for God to get me out of my exile, but to seek God in my exile.
