- Jesus said: You can boil the whole Bible down to two commands: Love the Lord with your whole being and love your neighbors as yourself.
- 1. Tell people that you love them.
- Make it standard operating procedure.
- Look for memorable ways to say it.
- 2. Put your love in writing.
- Children never throw away a hand-written note from their parents.
- When you express your love to a spouse or a child in a hand-written
- note… it’s their’s forever.
- 3. Exercise loving touch.
- If you study the life of Jesus, you’ll discover that He would often
- show compassion through appropriate touch.
- Even if showing love is uncomfortable for you, climb out of
- your comfort zone for the sake of the people you love.
- 4. Small acts of kindness.
- Gifts, flowers and calls all say, “while I was away I was thinking of
- you!”
- 5. Enter into the life of the people you love.
- Love means you show up for things!
- Showing your love to the people you love is the most important thing you can do until you go to Heaven… let’s get started!
