- Prodigal means:
- 1. Spending money or resources freely and recklessly: wastefully extravagant.
- 2. Having or giving something on a lavish scale.
- The Father ran to His son.
- God will do whatever it takes, even if it means He loses His dignity, so He can embrace you to come back home.
- The Father received His son.
- Three Elements:
- The robe = Christ
- The ring = The Holy Spirit
- Sandals = Gospel
- The point of the parable is to embrace others like the Father did.
- What will it cost you to become like the Father?
- Your faith is determined by how much you look like your Father.
