- To follow Jesus is to be willing to embrace strangeness.
- Jesus doesn’t want a tame church, Jesus wants a strange church.
- Two Worldly Pressures:
- 1. The pressure to conform ourselves.
- 2. The pressure to confine ourselves.
- Jesus doesn’t want a bunch of quarantined Christians. He wants resident aliens.
- Jesus called us out of the world so that he could send us back into the world to save people from the world.
