Message Notes

  1. Reasons why we are made to rest:
  2. 1. It will preserve out limited resources.
  3. If we don’t understand that we were designed to rest, we’ll most likely be laid torest before our time.
  4. God expected His people to help one another to rest.
  5. 2. It will prioritize what’s most important.
  6. Restlessness, at its root, is primarily a spiritual problem.
  7. 3. It will point others to God.
  8. Resting means that we are as confident as God is in His own Word – that he will make a way as we walk according to His ways.
  9. Closing Questions:
  10. How much credibility do our lives give to the promise of God’s rest?
  11. Can people witness the reality of God in our lives by how we are responding by the stresses in our lives?
  12. Can someone who is not yet walking with God look at our life and see rest available that they don’t have?
